Ooh, I love 'em! They seem to be really taking off at the mo. Sainsburys have 'em, and I saw them on the local market stall today. And the forum is green so people know it's the veggie forum! :broc:

I find them too sweet personally but they work really well in smoothies. They have lots of vitamin A and some vit C :)

I bought some in Waitrose the other day, they were 2.99 for a pack of 6. Not cheap but the same price as a bar of green and blacks and I am trying to kick my chocolate habit, so I treated myself.

I'm currently eating my first one ever! Slightly messy to eat but delicious. I got 6 for 45p in the Morrisons reduced section.

I just tried sharon fruits for the first time - so delicious. As for them smelling weird, i think papaya smell weird too - its to do with the enzymes in them i think. But they taste brilliant and really good for digestion.

Sharon fruits are soooo goood yummmm...
don't quote me on this, as it may be wrong, but I THINK i read somewhere that eating ots of them can actully be damaging to your liver and kidneys because of some chemical they have in them, I'll google it now and see what i can find.
