It's a bit early in for this, but, I reckon I may already have found the best album of 2006, and I must insist that everyone who liked the Arcade Fire, or The Talking Heads download this album RIGHT NOW!!!! And also buy it when it comes out on the 23rd of course.
Slightly heavier and rawer than The Talking Heads and more diverse than The Arcade Fire. Purely brilliant. The only negative thing is that the track that's getting the most press coverage ("The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth") isn't really indicative of their overall sound.
Like the Arcade Fire, they've also had the David Byrne seal of approval, as he's been seen nodding along at several of their shows.
Anyway, I'm done raving, they're a real breath of fresh air, and I recommend them wholeheartedly to everyone. :wiggle:
