We have 3 cats Wibber, woo and violet

Woo aka Jackson, roonie, wooleeeeee
Had a fit type thing where he went all floppy the a little while ago, it happened again on saturday and we had to take him back to the vets today for blood tests to see if he has epilepsy or to rule of brain tumor etc. We got there at 8.30 and he screamed the who way we went into the room and the vets and 2 nurses pinned him down in anohter room and shaved him neck and stabbed him with a giant needle - poor woo, he was so glad to get home.

We need get well vibes for him - we find out the results at 5ish tonight and in a way epilepsy would be better for him - than a tumor anyway

It is for the best I know that but he doesnt - it must be so scarey going in cars, going to a vets, being stabbed in the neck, poor boy he did come home and have some chicken though which he liked lol - just wait now and hope for the best

How's it going? I hope it's all okay... In all these stressful procedures, you could give him a few drops of catnip tea in his food. Ask your vet whether they think a small amount of catnip to calm any nerves would be a good idea... You really would have to assess the situation though. Although it can be a calming relief for cats, if he's ill just the main things are to bring him back to health and give him love and tlc!

Anyhow, lots of luck to him!!

Aww bless...Lolas got epilapsy and went 2 months without a fit until yesterday :(
Hope woo is ok, the vets will just give him/her some tablets if its anything like lola, even though tablets can be nasty but shes back to normal now.

Well we got the results from his liver function etc and they where clear - the only thing that was picked up was slightly low white blood cell count but that could easily be from infection and wouldnt be enough to cause fits.

Im wait now for the throid check to come back - going to phone them in a sec
