3 Daft Monkeys are playing - I know because I'm promoting a gig by them in Wolverhampton in early July, and while sorting that out they mentioned to me that they are definately on at this years beautiful days.

Oh Mark Saul-he is amazing!! I saw him at the Hebridean Celtic Fest last year in Lewis, lovely guy and good looking too!:whistle:
Fraid I won't make it to BD this year, bang in the middle of the Edinburgh festival and some of us have to work:harhar:

Yeah, it'd be a bit naff having the gathering the same time as beautiful days...They'd have to be a ukhippy gathering marc 2 for the festival

not a bad idea - holding a gathering for all those who cant make it/can't afford it/dog ate the tickets etc.

i think holding the main gathering during BD's would make it a little quiet, but might be nice for those who aren't going to be able to meet up at a smaller gatthering.

and all those who will be there can get together aswell and make sure we get loads of piccies to make everyone jelous!!

I suppose on the bright side you wouldn't have the problem doc mentioned of their being too many people to effectively organise activitys together (allthough that may still be the case just that a chunk will be at BD)

Headlining the Main Stage on Friday are indie-funk Mercury Music prize winners GOMEZ, on Saturday its KILLING JOKE one of the most influential bands of the last twenty years and Sunday headliners are, of course, the ultimate festival band themselves LEVELLERS.

From folk to comedy, punk to reggae, youll find it all at Beautiful Days this year. As well as a top line-up of bands and DJs, the festival has comedy from Perrier award winner Dylan Moran and a host of performance and walkabout artists to keep you entertained around the site.

What a great little line up, Bleeding Hearts, Buzzcocks, Steel Pulse, 3 Daft Monkeys, Selector, King Creosote, Lunasa just a few highlights for me anyway and even some comedy this year...... who said The Levellers:whistle:
