i was just clearing out my fridge and decided to see what i could make out of the stuff in there
so this is it
3 carrots
half a small swede
2 small onions
2 sticks of celery
i garlic clove
half a red pepper
a handful of white cabbage
all chopped and chucked in a pan covered with water and two veggie stock cubes
then i added some precooked lentils and pearl barley and beans
when all cooked and soft i left too cool slightly then blitzed with the blender
oh of course not forgetting the seasoning i added
ive just fed it to my daughter whose off school poorly and she says its yum and if she says its yum it must be lol
i grated veggie cheese on mine and we had it with chunky wholemeal bread
