So here's the thing. The stereotypical bloke likes large breasts. Perhaps I'm just weird, but huge, veiny tits just leave me cold. So I was wondering.... which do you prefer? Guys only please....

Small medium or large, I don't mind. Although I have to say that excessively large is a bit extreme...like you said, Dok, huge veiny tits are a bit offputting. But nowt wrong with normal scales of large.

Comedy answer : Both!

No wonder i don't bother....<groan>I wasn't aware there was anything sexist about liking breasts. Judging a woman on the basis of her breasts is certainly sexist, but that's a different issue. Perhaps you could discuss your opinion with us before being so quick to judge?

Sexist?....

Sexist?....Why on earth's that sexist? I'm interested in exploring the idea of the stereotypical male liking big breasts. I'm curious to know if this is truly representative of men's tastes or if it's just a fiction. How is women voting in that poll going to help with that?

So I break the rules of men only, and come in on this one because I have to say I feel a bit offended by this thread. Women may wont to say something in their defence or if they prefer women like gay/bi women. I have to agree with Stonesy on this one too.

And I haven't seen any women put a thread up saying women only, and what size of men's dicks do you prefer??? I would be deeply offended if I was a man by that too. What does it matter, at the end of the day the function of breasts are for feeding babies in my eyes. Call me old fashioned but I happen to think this thread is just encouraging men to think of women as sexual objects.

Women may wont to say something in their defence or if they prefer women like gay/bi women. I have to agree with Stonesy on this one too.Have you actually read my post??? I'm interested in exploring a male stereotype!!! The tastes and preferences of lesbian and bisexual women have absolutely no relevance to this question.

And I haven't seen any women put a thread up saying women only, and what size of men's dicks do you prefer???I'm exploring a stereotype!!! What part of that isn't clear??? Please forgive me for phrasing it in such a lighthearted fashion.

The whole point of this thread is that I think men are encouraged to view women as sexual objects, judging them simply on the size of their breasts. Bit tits = great woman. I happen to think that sexuality is far more complex than that and would hope that men aren't all this shallow - hence the thread. How on earth you extrapolate a sexist agenda from that is way beyond my understanding.

Sexist? probably......but large breasts (along with many other things)....do sometimes cause a reaction in me, and it's usually a sexual reaction....I can't deny that....but it doesn't make me judge a woman based solely on her breasts, i'd have become bored of women 15yrs ago if that was the case.

Yeah but look at some of the answers for example "large breasts often mean large women, cant be having with it" - what an assumption. And I am sure you would get even more answers along the lines of that as this thread progressed.

It is no wonder that people get low self esteem, to such a degree they have breast reductions or enlargements. I have veiny breasts at the moment because they are swollen from getting ready to produce milk, how does that make me feel when you comment on them!! for me personally I can handle it but for some women they would find that hard.

I am a woman you can not know how it feels to be oggled at and looked at coz of the size of my breasts. Or when talked to eyes on my breast instead of my face.

Maybe you should listen to a woman on this and stop trying to justify something that offends a woman who has breasts. Even if I end up to be the only woman that has guts enough to comment!! You can argue/justify this one all you like, section my post, try to suss me out and argue it intrically. But be a real person and maybe say sorry I offeneded any women with this thread even if you say your intentions were honourable. I just don't see it personally.

Yeah but look at some of the answers for example "large breasts often mean large women, cant be having with it" - what an assumption. And I am sure you would get even more answers along the lines of that as this thread progressed. So the way someone chooses to answer a question makes the question sexist? I don't think so! You can quite fairly argue that the answer is sexist, but the question certainly was not.

It is no wonder that people get low self esteem, to such a degree they have breast reductions or enlargements.I agree. Which was one of the reasons why I started this thread.

I have veiny breast at the moment because they are swollen from getting ready to produce milk, how does that make me feel when you comment on them!! for me personally I can handle it but for some women they would find that hard.???

The whole point is that the stereotpye argues that the majority of men find that extremely attractive. If you're suggesting that the tasts of one person should be too much for some women to handle, then I wonder what you're suggesting? We should never discuss our tastes and preferences openly? I don't remember arguing there was anything wrong with veiny breasts - just that they weren't to my taste.

I am a woman you can not know how it feels to be oggled at and looked at coz of the size of my breasts. Or when talked to eyes on my breast instead of my face.I disagree. I think you vastly underestimate the ability of men to empathise. This kind of behaviour disgusts me and it's something of which I've always been acutely aware. I've spent much of my life in (mostly futile) arguments with other men on this and similar issues. I've alienated work colleagues by arguing such points as this, so frankly I take great offence at the kind of negative assumptions that you're making in this thread.

Maybe you should listen to a woman on this and stop trying to justify something that offends a woman who has breasts.Well I ran it past my partner and she doesn't find it offensive in the slightest. Your opinion is not representative of all woman.

But be a real person and maybe say sorry I offeneded any women with this thread even if you say your intentions were honourable. I just don't see it personally. It's incredibly ironic that you demand an apology of me, and then in the same paragraph go on to insult me by questioning my intentions. I'm not sorry I offended any women, but I am sorry if any women failed to understand the context of my words and found them offensive.

what you say about been oggled, i totally see your point on that, i watch blokes do it to girls, and as much as guys might say theyd love it if it was girls doing it, im pretty sure the novelty would wear after about a week of that and start to piss me off big time. ive experianced it a couple of times in a couple of situations, (gay boss and mentalist girl) wernt loving that one at all.

Apologise because a man finds some aspects of the female body more sexually attractive than others?

No Way! for every shape, size, colour, creed of the human body, there is someone out there who finds that person, as an individual, more sexually attractive than all others ...... it's necessary for the survival of the human race...if not, all of us would be identical.

If you are offended that, as an individual, I have a preferance for a body type that doesn't match your own.......fine....nothing i can do about that, but i fail to see how that will effect your life one way or another...

oh.....and just because I answered honestly to the question posed...certainly doesn't mean that I "oggle" every big pair of tits that i see.....how dare you presume that we do?

I know what I feel as a woman and answer as much as you like but I know what I feel about this thread and stand by what I have said whole heartedly. And like you, my male partner happens to agree with me on this one.I'm quite happy for you to feel a particular way, but what offends me is the way you insist on questioning my intentions. If they'd been sexist, I can assure you I'd be standing up and saying as much. If I have an opinion, I have the guts to stick to it. I wouldn't be trying to lie my way out of a corner. The fact that you keep insinuating that I'm lying is rude and offensive. You're quite welcome to disagree with me, but calling me a liar is in a different league altogether.

And another thing.....

I have veiny breasts at the moment because they are swollen from getting ready to produce milk, how does that make me feel when you comment on them!!So would you consider it unreasonable for a woman to say that she doesn't like big, muscley bodies on a man? What's the difference?

And to top it all if this was a serious as you said why did you put this thread in FILTHY THOUGHTS??????Because - as I've already said - I was making a serious point in a lighthearted fashion. However, it seems that you've started this discussion with your preconceptions already formed and are unwilling to listen to anything that contradicts them - to the point of calling me a liar. A position that's confrontational and designed to lessen understanding on either side. Perhaps if you opened your mind and were prepared to take me at my word we might be able to learn a little from each other in this thread. As it is, you've just set out to launch an attack and seem extremely disinterested in compromise. A typically macho, male, chauvanistic response :harhar:

Hang on

I don't think there's anything wrong with a man prefering small or big boobs, or fat or thin women... or wanting to explore one sexes view point on any certain issue... I can't see the sexism, mind you I'm slapped in the face with sexism everyday at work so maybe i've become blind to it

Personally, I love a nice pair of moobs :broc:

In order to study a stereoptype you need to involve those that the stereotype is about surely? In this culture we're constantly told that large breasts are it, the majority of porn involves women with huge breasts, we're sold bras that enhance our cleavage, we have padded bras. So how can it be sexist to study men's opinions when trying to explore the stereotype? I amazed that both of you (Stormy & Stonesy) have reacted really strongly, it's like it's provoked a reaction in you and you've actually missed the point. If the post was simply 'do you like small or big tits? Men only....' I could understand it more but that wasn't what the Dok was asking.

I know he's my partner and obviously I'm going to defend him () but he is one of the rare breed of people (male and female) that doesn't have a sexist bone in his body, and he certainly wouldn't want to encourage a sexist post!

Personally, I love a nice pair of moobs :broc:You don't need to tell us that love - we already know!!! :harhar:

hey lets bring things back on track!

Paddy loves breasts! i like them in all sizes and colours but i'm afraid i do prefer bigger. The reason i prefer bigger is *love* female curves, mmmm curves. Having said that my girlf has fairly small breasts and definitley isn't curvy but strike me down and call me harry she's one hot babe!

in hindsight, i think my preference with breasts uis that they need to match the body they're on. sometimes fake breasts can look ok but if they're obviously too large then that just turns me off completely!

Hmmm, this all seems a little over the top to me.
The internet is full of polls and surveys aimed at a target audience.
Sure, that means people are left out but if you're trying to gage the preferences of any one group it's a necessity to focus on that group.
If I wanted to study the ratio of depressive illness in men aged 16-30 I can't see anyone being offended by that, I think the issue here is that the female form is something people feel strongly about and would like to discuss, but obviously this thread is limited to male perspectives.
It doesn't seem sexist to me to limit it in that way for the reasons given, and there's nothing preventing any of us from starting a thread to simply discuss breasts from both a male and female perspective and leaving this simply as what it is, a poll generated to gather information on the preferences of the average male.

I'll start said thread in the sex and sexuality forum, where we can delve into it a little more deeply without throwing this thread off topic.

I read the question and gave an honest answer which I don't think was flippant or derogatory, just a statement of fact.
Why do some women like to think that they are not sexual objects, I mean you are having a baby after all, the only solid reason why any of us exist in the first place.
Strange we can discuss anal sex but not breasts !

If that was the case I would have been married ages ago. Qualities such as kindness, selflessness, indignant at injustice eloquence and a similar intellectual level are what is important to me. I did not vote as it is not all that relevant to me. I must say in most cases of plastic surgery in relation to breasts are just a waste of money.
