TV programmes you've only just got into...

There's quite a few TV series out there I've never watched for one reason or another, and people rave on about them at the time, and are only rediscovered quite a while after they were shown. I don't know if anyone else is like this too?

For example I never got round to watching Life On Mars when it first came on TV. I'm not sure why, maybe it clashed with something more important? But I've been lent the first series on DVD and after seeing a couple of episodes I think it's great... should've watched it before now!

and reading how Fox execs screwed around with the program order, I DL-ed all the episodes and watched them in the order Sir Joss of Whedon(we are not worthy) intended and I loved every second, plus the movie, and Summer Glau{sigh...} and just bolstered my opinion of the utter uselesness of the Fox management breathing air on this planet.

Trailer Park Boys. Just started on the box set of 6 series. 1st series watched tonight. The rest over the next few weeks I think to ration it out.

The West Wing. I'm really surprised at how good it is though some of the nuances of American politics and insider jokes go straight over my head.

    Californication.

Only discovered this last week and finding it increasingly funny and quotable. Now on season 3.
