I am so sorry to hear of your loss stinkypete. I will not say dont cry,as your are expressing your emotions towards the seperating of directions between you and your friend. Though I will say ' try not to beat yourself badly about it,as your staffy had hit a very honarable age there and would of been suffering from old age related problems. Wherever he or she may be now,you can be sure that there is no more suffering.
Whats the dogs name, and I for one shall raise a glass to him-her to celebrate its life, and one to you too to send you love and support when you are feeling sad.

    Huge love and light

Condolences.... The crying is fully understandable, 15 years is a long time to be paired with a soul, most human to human relationships don't even last that long.... But, they were 15 good years, and the memories you have now as a result are fully worth the turmoil when they go. Cry, let it out, but know that they never truly leave, as long as you remember the good times, a piece of your pups spirit will be with you always xxxx

Sorry to hear this It's sad to say but sometimes this affects us more than the loss of people. It certainly did when I lost my dog 4 years ago, could not even look at photos or talk about him without welling up.
It does get easier with time and one day you will be able to remember the good times with a smile on your face and remember that those moments made you happy not sad.

They're buggers aren't they? They get under your skin & then pop off too soon. I wouldn't live without one though. Remember the happy times you shared.

I have a staffie, and he's a charming little bastard at the worst of times, and beyond charming when he is being well behaved, i would hate to see him go. Luckily, he is only three, so many years of him stealing biscuits, couch space, attention and love..... It will break me when he goes....

if its any consolation, they say the dog is a reflection of the love and effort a human can give, and a human is the reflection of love and effort a dog can give..... You were well met, and you will meet again xx

noodles who is also a staff shes four now is a little out of sorts she misses her also but she helps me to keep it real, I got her because durbs wasnt well at the time and I thought I was going to lose her, that was 4 years ago so she did well to live so long after.Noodles goes beyond the little bastard mark at times but that keeps me busy, and I wouldnt want her any other way.
Thanks for kind words, off out now to take her for wander. x

The only bad thing about dogs is that they don't live long enough.
