    Show off your "home"

    Hey guys...

So as some of you know I'm planning on going mobile at the end of January. It's all explained in my other thread "going mobile".

I haven't bought a vehicle yet but I'm going to view some next week/tomorrow onwards. Hopefully i will buy one.

Feel free to share pictures of your rides in this thread, just so i can get some ideas and see what people are living in.

    Thanks

Nice caravan you got there. What make and year is it??

What do you use to tow it? Or does it just stay in one place?

Does it not feel a bit cramped? I could never live in such a small space.

Personally i would never choose a transit. That thing is gonna break- and it's guaranteed.

The Merco not the blim trailer. And that's not me fiddling with my sound system either..
Perspective is weird in this picture. The box on the truck is 20ft long.

I don't think any vans made to last nowadays I'd like something familiar to the mondeo incase it does break

    Thanks GD

It is a 1969 Airstream Globetrotter. We spent 3 years on and off restoring it and fitting it out for full time living. We tow it with a 2.8 Shogun. We do move about but the shogun has been off the road for a bit as I have some welding to do.

    Beautiful home Ma.

I lived in an Astral Luxitrailer for a year or two. What a lovely home, and for next to no money.
Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is meant to be serious.

    |I live in my van full time yes. Just doing my second winter in the van ... wet and windy last year not a problem really only got stuck in the mud once!...a tad chilly so far this winter but handling it ok. Got a bit of a fleece blanket tent going on inside at night and more reliant on the heater this year but not cried yet so not too bad!
