that's good, Dartmoor is larger-368 square miles, but apart from some forestry plantations its mostly treeless, if they used a drone or a chopper they could soon find someone.
plenty of water and because its moorland its fairly pollution free, bearing the odd dead sheep in it!!
i'd be heading to a place I know, woodland not far from Dartmoor, nobody goes there as its pretty overgrown, nobody's touched it for about 40 years.

its actually owned by the wife but we could never register it as such because it was given by "word of mouth" with no paperwork, and as the relative who gave it is long since deceased proof is unavailable.

nope its just a woodland, no buildings and its impossible to get a caravan in there without being noticed( and it would take a lot of physical labour just to accomplish it).
we live about 7 miles from it and keep an eye on it, but that's about it. without the paperwork that's about as much as we can do.

I don't understand some of these rules, they say the contestants have to keep moving "during the hours of active hunting"...what the hell does that mean?? 9-5? during daylight hours?
sometimes I think these sorts of programmes are a subtle way of the state saying " you cannot hide away from us!", but as some of us know that is a complete load of male bovine droppings, in the real world (not a tv programme) if you were a fugitive there are a lot of places to go-mostly rural- where you'd never be seen again and could drop completely out of sight.

Its down to 'trying ' to make entertaining telly . LOL.! If you holed up in some woods it would be boring as hell to watch , unless you were a ninkumpoop who was continiualy getting wet/has diahorrea/gets eaten alive by horseflys/runs out of food /bogpaper etc ...that might be entertaining to watch .
I bet the camera man has a tracker fitted too. .

yes I think the thing has been set up for the contestants to fail.
i'm very suspicious that the state may have had a hand in setting up the rules hence my previous remarks.
