THIS WEBSITE NEEDS YOU - SERIOUSLY!
This website has been in arrears for a while & will not survive at the current donation rate! We currently have over 17000 members & if everyone donated we would never need to ask for money again. Of course, we appreciate not all of you are in the same financial position, but we regularly run at a loss, so if you can afford it please consider donating. The progress bar is arbitary & resets every month & there is a thread on running costs here.

Doin my navigation exercises again. Reminds me of when I was last doing it about 20 years ago. Ah, it seems like yesterday!😞

So where are you navigating to? Are you doing it on foot or driving?

There's a lot to sailing navigation and I've forgotten more than I can remember so I'm going through the course books and charts to remind myself whats what. But it's all coming back so it's not as much as a headache as it was. I'll also have the GPS as a backup but I trust myself more than I trust electronics.
As for where... if I can leave in 12 months I'll head south to warmer weather but if it takes 18 months I'll head up to the Baltic and to the Sailing the Farm base in Oslo and beyond.
But if the shit goes down with world politics I'll just go to wherever I can, as soon I can to survive or be of the best use.

Those cables are making my ocd nerve twitch....

Im the same at work, if i open a panel and it looks like a vipers nest then i have to tidy it up. Its a shame not everyone at work feels the same way as next time i open it someones pulled it out again.

Yeah, I'm in the process of doing that now. The next stage will mean half the work will be outside and for some reason I keep putting that off. Still, there's always other stuff to do.
