I don't know what the first step would be, agree an area or a budget ?

Maybe set a budget , then work out how many shareholders you want to be involved , from there work out the cost of each share , then get a list of names going first on a first come bases until the list is full , ?

What's a standalone acre worth in an averagely priced area? Or do we shoot for a larger area? Or in Spain? Lots of possibilities

In Romania you can still claim remote rural land. So I am told by the guy in the Corsa. It's a principle left over from the Communist era, when the government were obliged to house you.

In general the more remote away from main road access and big towns and poor quality land the prices are lower but you wont get a lot of change out of 10k for an acre of average agricultural land.
Maybe if you looked at some forestry that you could use both for parking in occasionally and work for timber that would provide an income for upkeep of the land and theres grants avsilable for forestry as well as tax offsets...just a thought..

Wales has been more proactive for eco developments along with southern scotland but somerset and devon are moving more in the right direction, theyve approved low impact eco projects in the last couple of years.

What's the magic number of acres for ease of planning for sheds etc? That would help determine the budget
