Thread: My mental health

  1. #193
I suffer with my mental health and had borderline personality disorder diagnosis. I use three different medications but I dont talk about my condition to people for fear of being judged a crazy nutter. Thanks Maddy for giving me the courage to talk about my illness. Hope your in good spirit at the moment. I feel quite well just lately.

I had a financial assessment to discuss my car payment and they worked out that I could afford 85 a week and I spoke to Mark yesterday and she said it was only going to be reduced by a few pounds so I will have no choice but to cut my hours
I am having a meeting with my advocate and my care coordinator mental health worker next week to discuss what's next but I want a financial breakdown in figures in writing as to how they came up with this in the first place before I do anything because I want to build a case against them I can't give people money that I haven't got
I also sets the financial assessor that if I could afford care I would already be paying for it she didn't say anything to that funny that
    I am fucking furious

When I was last at the doctors they gave me a seven day script for temazepam because I wasn't sleeping and if I don't sleep I run the risk of going high because of the bipolar traits
Lack of sleep and psychiatric medication don't mix because he can't have a proper day because it's written off because you feel the effects more if you don't sleep all I do at least

One of the lucky ones too

I sing the music in my head.
I sing into the voice recorder thing on my phone.
I have so many recordings, some of them are really good
I write words/lyrics down as well.
I do intend to work on my music one day....
Using music to express/release emotions is such a beautiful thing.
Using any art form for this purpose is a beautiful thing.
Real, raw emotion is ALWAYS appreciated in art.
I'm sending you a ((((((REALLY BIG HUG))))))

Today poor, becoming very poor later. With fog patches.
Felt a depth of depression I've not known in a long time and began to despair that I may not just ride this one out.
Except I have to, because what else is there?

Alf, I really hope that you can fight your way through this. We're all here for you. I don't have advice as I haven't had to go through what you are suffering, just hang in there, fella?

Can only wait it out. I have too many things I need to do in the world to settle back in complete depressive vegetation. To mistranslate some Beckett:

"When you're up to your neck in shit there's nothing left to do but sing."

I know that mushrooms can be a helper for me in these places, but I can't think of a safe setting to undertake that right now.

How do you launch into something when there may be no way of soothing when it gets rough?

If it's any help I also suffer with depressive phases because I have bipolar traits
Someone asked me to describe depression once and I said it's like trying to hold a fist full of water
Because everything you try to do things such an impossible thing
