I've booked a flight to Thailand for next month but feeling quite low and may not take the flight. Don't fancy having an episode while at the other side of the world, will take a 500 quid loss but my health is more important. Anyhow I have a month to make up my mind!!

A lot can happen in a month, Mike. I'm sure you'll make the right decision one way or another though.

I guess you need to ask yourself..."If I don't go,will I feel worse"?Might be good for you to get away from the norm, maybe practice some meditation on a nice beach or other?Only you know whats best for yourself though.Best wishes and hope you find some peace,where-ever that happens to be.

Thanks Cobra, appreciate your input. I have been before but met family and friends there. This time I am on my own and so feeling slightly apprehensive. It's the two 7 hour flights that putting me off but I'm sure come the day my bags will be packed and I will take off. Such a beautiful place and so cheap too. Will keep you guys posted and upload some pics of tropical beaches!!

Good to hear from you Maddy, you take care of yourself and be well. If you can get help to beat the drink please do so, it's not an easy thing on your own but you do recognise you're hitting the bottle too much and that's half the battle won.

AA could be a good support Maddy. Have my own problems and found fellowship a real help. Stick around and take care. Mick.
