This summer I will be venturing to Portugal for warm weather training, the south of France for rock climbing and kayaking, road tripping round Wales for hiking and wild camping and (only maybe) to Amsterdam

Slow and steady, make my mind up when I get to where the road bends. I'm wanting to travel less distances, more often.i would like to take in a few festivals I've always fancied dropping ion. But this year I want to really enjoy tie out with our kids.lots of beach camping.
Emmyy you sound quite the adrenaline junkie in the making. Live life to the full while you have your health and few commitments.

I'd just really love to be able to drive further than 50 miles without it hurting just now...

I've never been to Paris for more than a few days, but I do find scouring the internet very useful for finding cool Cafes and nice places to visit

In wider picture the plan is to acquire a van, make it up, put the woodburner inside, and then spend a proper snowy Christmas in Finland

I,m supposed to be walking in Bulgaria for a few weeks end of May. I had no idea that this fucking knee was going to take so long to heal when I signed up for this but one can but hope. I'm going anyway and hoping above hope that I will be fighting fit and ready to go. Walking stick and leg brace will be with me I think though.

Slowly driving to Portugal beginning of April. Signed up to workaway, so will take in a few places on that, bit of farming whatever, bit of wild camping, bit of dossing, bit of working. Just gonna go with the flow and enjoy the summer. Probably spend a fair bit of time in France in the Autumn.

None, other than maybe a night at the Beltane Bash if my animal commitments allow . 4 days holiday in 7 years ! Its the price you pay for 'living the dream' but I would not have it any other way , I used to spend about 3 months a year travelling overseas . Do I miss it ? No, as long as I am where I am now

I did promise that I would make it out to Spain later this year, still not got passport sorted though.
It's been a while since I left the UK about 13 years.

I also plan to venture to Cornwall ( friends to meet up with )at least a couple of times and also would like to get up to Anglesey if possible. And of course I have to get over to East Anglia as well. (family business) .
