Seen that on TV, made a few living units out of them for homeless people. Good idea I think.

Without permission, I am pretty sure it's illegal to live in a storage unit.

I know some people have run small.or startup.businesses in or from them but living or staying overnight is usually forbidden in any contract and would be against any planning permission granted to the storage co so its not in their interests to allow it....a nyone whos done it must have done so with the.collusion of security staff.

There are 24 hour access storage places in the UK, where you get in with a code.

That's exactly what it means - shame they don't have showers

You get 24/7 access to a hospital too but it dont give you a right to live there.

Maybe theyll get your shopping in for you in your storage unit while youre at work too.

Not sure I could live in one as they are not meant for living in, more for storage!

Wouldnt mind a garage but I would have thought most storage units were windowless which would be very depressing

I think he had sold or given up his old place, but his new place wasn't ready. There was a few months gap between the two.

The thing is in America there is just so much space, crazy amounts, and you can still buy land for $5 an acre so nobody has to live in a storage unit out of necessity

Totally 100% bent but the councils are afraid to admit there is a problem because it highlights their own failures to deal with it. The councils have basically lose control of the situation, the so called landlords are running rings round them.

Maybe it is time to build another 25 million council homes across the country, the country did it once, no reason why it could not happen again, but this time not sell them off cheap so people can buy them and then make a fortune reselling them.

Did anyone watch his other video about the climbing wall living room? This guy has patience and he's brazen as fuck - love it.
