Hey everyone
Well i dont know if anyone knows but ive been spending this month living on the border of Burma (known as Myanmar these days) with a group called Spark Circus. We visit schools, orphanages, homes, refugee camps, hospitals and even pop into burma and visit Internally Displaced villages. What we do is arrive all bright and colourful like nothing they have ever seen before (litteraly) perform fun shows, roam and play with the kids, run workshops in all kinds of things like hula hoop, juggling, poi etc etc sing with them and donate huge bags of circus toys and other toys and gifts which we have collected to donate. We visit Thousands of children... the other day we visited 500 kids in the day time and then went else where and did an evening fire and LED show for another couple of hundred people. Its amazing. Sould sadening the moments when you are looking into the eyes of a child dieing of aids in a hospital with no walls and her bed is just a mat on the floor... but seeing the effect of just the few hours, moments, minutes you spend with the kids in their eyes... and knowing you will be remembered for many years to come is such a powerful feeling... and they do remember...
so heres some picture of us for you..
these ones were taken by a sparkle called Kevin at the future light orphanage which takes in burmese and hill tribe refugee children to save them from being kidnapped into the sex trade.
